Domain Purchase and Transfer Process

At One Pro Media, we strive to make acquiring privately held domains simple and secure. Once you express interest in a domain, one of our Domain Agents or authorized representatives will reach out to discuss the listed purchase price. After you decide to proceed, we’ll issue an invoice along with a secure payment link so you can conveniently complete your transaction by credit card. All credit card payments are processed through Stripe for maximum security and peace of mind.

To finalize the transfer, please provide the name of your preferred Domain Registrar and the email address to which you want the domain ownership assigned. If you opt for Namecheap, please allow approximately 1–3 days for the transfer to complete once payment is confirmed. If you choose GoDaddy or any other registrar, transfers usually take 2–5 business days. One Pro Media will promptly initiate and finalize the domain transfer as soon as we have verified your payment.

Should you prefer to use Domain Agents or another third-party brokerage service to handle the transaction, please note there will be a 22% increase in the purchase price to offset additional brokerage and service fees.

Clarification on Purchase Price and Renewal Fees

The initial purchase price is a one-time cost that establishes the domain under your ownership. After the transfer is complete, you’ll be responsible for renewing the domain at your chosen registrar—an annual cost that typically ranges between $15 and $25, depending on the registrar’s pricing. This investment secures your online identity and personal brand, ensuring that you can confidently manage and protect your domain for years to come.
